Today is ANZAC Day and I always pause and remember as the grand daughter of a man who didn’t return from World War II. For a recent Uni assignment I had to research stamps and came across these which I felt were both sombre and hopeful; feelings I associate with today.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget
