There is an element of serenity to my choices today… choices that are asking me to stop and pause. This is exactly what I need this week after an interesting time at work whereby I’ve essentially been asked to plan my role for the future. This has led me to a pathway with four options and I have no clue which road I want to go down… what do you do in these situations? Which leads me back to chartreuse… very calming but then I do have a green bias. Etsy was amassed with such a great selection but these three really ‘spoke’ to me. Here’s what I found:
TOP: Bailey Bowls – Christmas Nested Mini Bowls. Wouldn’t these look lovely on a Christmas table? Filled with treats that you have to savour. I’m such a fan of handmade ceramics and I could definitely accommodate these.
MIDDLE: Lotta Helleberg – Chartreuse Sage Sachets. Her work is so delicate and lovely. These prints are made using real leaves which makes almost every impression one of a kind. I just want to tuck them into a drawer so that I can open it and inhale deeply every now and then.
BOTTOM: Farouche – You Are Here Now print. I have long been an admirer of Farouche’s prints. I love the eclectic choice of images, the bold colours and the mix of fonts. This message really does make me pause.
P.S. My chartreuse ‘screen’ colour is very garish compared to my choices – that’s hexadecimal for you.
