Handmade Twin Bed or Lap Quilt

Ring around the Rosie beaded necklace

This turned out to be a seriously difficult colour to find results for… I think the way you would describe it is very open to interpretation. There’s quite a gypsy vibe to my choices today and after much searching here’s what I found:

TOP: Originals by Lauren – Handmade Twin or Lap Quilt in Moda Gypsy. I love quilts. I love making them and sleeping under them. I once read somewhere that you wouldn’t buy something you make yourself and I’m not sure that’s true. I have bought quilts by other people and enjoy them just as much. What do you think?
MIDDLE: libeado – Ring Around the Rosie. I probably wouldn’t wear this but I confess I find her work really intriguing. She not only has great names for her work but you find yourself looking twice when you realise that everything is made from beads.
BOTTOM: aggec – Brooch or jewellery pin. You have to grant me a little artistic license on the colour – I know it’s in there somewhere with this piece. Not surprisingly the creator is from Sweden, it really looks like traditional Scandinavian design.

  1. I found you on “Blogging Your Way”. What a lovely site. I’ve never been a big fan of brown, but these items are very pretty.

  2. Incredible beadwork on the necklace.

The brooch is breathtaking. I love the way the different elements are cradled into the design like organs in a body. Like they just belong there.

And I adore the quilt. Beautiful colors and designs. Nothing better than a great quilt, no matter who makes it.
