This turned out to be a very difficult colour for my flickr three. I think some artistic license may be requested for these ones.

My flickr finds are from top: The Sea Inside by Mohammad Emdadi, A Lamp post by Salim Fadhley, Brick by Rick Hadley.

P.S. – you can also select my colour first love or #D6C0D4 to see it on my ColourLovers page. Are you a ColourLover? Let’s be friends.

  1. They’re great pictures. Kind of dreamy. And I like the name for your color.

Did you know I’m color blind? I have no idea what color this is. Is it a blue, purple, or gray? It’s in my trouble range.

    1. No I did not know you were colour blind. Well it’s somewhere between blue, purple and gray so you are quite accurate. It was exceedingly hard to find in images so I’ll be back to something brighter on the colour spectrum next time.

  2. I think you did an excellent job, Libby, both in the choosing of the color and the finding of the photos! I love that particular shade that I just call dawn. I’m such a night owl that I hardly ever get to see it much, but one advantage of being sick the past couple of days has been early mornings… I just saw this color today, in fact!

    1. Thanks Brandi. Sorry to hear you haven’t been feeling well – hope you are on the mend. I am most definitely a dawn girl, and by my own volition too! We are still in daylight savings (crazy) so we are up before the sun on work days and I’m a morning exerciser.

  3. Great findings. Mike eyes spin on the last photo 😛
