Colour swatch called perfect eyes #1A687D

It’s really hot today, the kind of hot you can’t imagine in the middle of winter, the kind of hot where you can believe it’s going to get hotter than this. This colour speaks to me of getting cool.

This week has been about finishing up two blog cutups, planning for Christmas visitors, letting go of stuff we no longer need and sewing. What have you been up to?

My flickr finds are from top:

  1. Perfect, my favorite color of the moment! By the way, I love your flickr finds! Great job!

    1. Thanks Mary – it’s really not a colour I gravitate towards but I had such fun finding my images for it.

  2. I’m with Mary. I’m a sucker for teal. x

    1. Well me – not so much – but the images do work well all lined up.

  3. It’s my color! I love it so!

  4. Oh. My. These are beautiful. But that first one is mesmerizing to me. I want to run my hands along those walls, those bricks. I want to stand between the walls and listen to the silence echo. I want to feel the flow of the air as it is trapped between those walls and reaches heavenward to escape. And I want someone with a beautiful singing voice to chant quietly within those walls. I am captivated by the magic of that first picture.
