Hey friends, I’ve been a little absent on the blog front. Sorry about that. Things have been crazy and ironically I’m also doing an eCourse on blogging that seems to have halted my blogging – I can’t really explain that. I’m quite pleased with my colour finds today. Red orange (or is it red-orange) is definitely not a colour I can wear but I love how exotic and lush it is. Here’s what I found:
TOP: Ecocozy‘s Burnt Orange Chicken Tea Cosy in Felted Wool. Don’t you just love this little fellow. I mean how could I go past it? I love felt, but I think I may have mentioned that before. Also, have you noticed a tea cosy resurgence? My neighbour gave us a hand knitted one last week (complete with knitted sandwiches).
MIDDLE: Button Soup Jewelry‘s Red-orange vintage button and bead necklace. This makes me want to find my mother’s button tin. I remember how much I loved to run my fingers through it as a child. It still contains buttons bought by my grandmother. I really love how this necklace is put together and the store has a lot of equally lovely creations.
BOTTOM: Bordello Chic’s toffee coloured cushion with pink and red-orange flower. I could not go past this either and I know it’s stretching the limit on my colour today. Have you ever been shopping and not bought something you absolutely loved only to regret that decision? This is how I feel about including this cushion. I just had to do it.
