With a week between posts it seems hard to believe that I’ve actually been on a semester break. I’ve been trying to get ahead on my studies and working on a couple of blog cutups, which I hope I can share with you soon.
About my colour – I have a a-symmetric cardigan which was the last thing my Mum made me and it’s almost exactly this colour. It’s made from a blend of possum fur and wool that comes from New Zealand. As you might imagine it’s incredibly warm and on really chilly days you’ll often find me remarking ‘this calls for the possum’, as the only thing that keeps me warm. I was hoping I could retire the possum for the rest of the year since today is now the second day of spring but our cold weather continues. We had the dubious honour of the coldest spring day ever yesterday at -7° celcius. The frost was truly spectacular. I hope you’re keeping warm (or cool).
My possum coloured finds are from top:
Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) by Lian Chang, age lines by Lynn Szwalkiewicz, Thorns in tan by Louis
P.S. – you can also select my colour possum or #947B72 to see it on my ColourLovers page. Are you a ColourLover? Let’s be friends.
