The opportunity to do something

Golden pond

Colour swatch #E1BA4F

This will be my final post for 2012. I think I need a little break and we have visitors arriving from Denmark tomorrow so we will be a busy bunch.

It’s been a hard year for me, the first one without my Mum. I miss her everyday but I’ve learned to accommodate the void that she has left. I think I lost my direction for a while but I can honestly say I see a little glimmer of direction of the horizon now. I am thankful for my family and good friends near and far that have been such a great support for me in a year of ups and downs. The events of the last few weeks will see me hugging my boys more (if that’s possible) and enjoying their gorgeous boyish ways.

I have many projects brewing in 2013 and I’m excited about all of them. I’ve been working with the über talented Marg, from Red Moon Creative on a new logo design for Crimson Pear and I’m already excited by her ideas. My colour choice today is a little hint for a redesign of my website and finally I’ve been toiling away at perfecting some patterns and I’ll be excited to share that project with you, so watch this space.

I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year and thank you for being part of my blogging adventures.
