Winter has officially begun this week, although it feels like it arrived weeks ago. Mostly the days have been ending with chilly air and spectacular sunsets. The inspiration for my colour today.
My flickr finds are from top: the brain is gone. i see clearly now by Gal, Sunset over Birmingham 2 by v1ctory_1s_m1ne, Fungus gills – Lepista nuda (wood blewit) by nutmeg66
P.S. – you can also select my colour winter twilight or #995C78 to see it on my ColourLovers page. Are you a ColourLover? Let’s be friends.

Gorgeous flickr finds…especially love the richness and texture of the first image.
So nice to see another Etsian in BYW 2.0!
All the best,
Mary
Thanks Mary. I’m super fond of texture and you’ll often find me posting pictures of old brick walls and weathered doors.
Absolutely stunning color, Libby! It totally reminds me of dusk!
Thanks Brandi. I actually set off in search of a grey colour since it’s been rainy and cold and then this is what I chose!
Beautiful photography and i love the vividness of the colours 🙂
Thank you! I think I take artistic license sometimes with the photos. The mushroom wasn’t quite my colour but I just loved it so much that I had to use it.
Oh, my. This color and these choices are breathtaking! I love the wall, of course, and the mushroom. But those clouds! There just aren’t words to describe how powerful and stunning those clouds are. Thank you for showing them to me.
You know I nearly didn’t use the cloud image – but for some reason I just kept coming back to it. Although I love the mushroom. Thanks, as always, for stopping by Miss Robin.
wow that sky is beautiful!
Thanks Renee. I almost didn’t use this image, and it’s turned out to be a popular choice. Thanks for stopping by.
